Excellent - perfect for the refreshing nap

I always hated napping because I would wake up feeling groggy this is perfect! It does exactly as it says - wakes you up before you fall into a deep sleep. Perfect for just before you go out or that quick refresh nap at work.

Great

Its a simple app that gives 20, 45 and 2 hour nap options. I dont keep the phone on me while napping; I charge it mid-day instead. So I count on those 3 times as my naps depending on the day. Works great.

There are so many opinions in these reviews!! Here is my two cents: yes this app is very similar to Sleep Cycle, but this app is built to have you holding your phone instead of laying it on the bed. I dont have an Apple Watch, but I imagine itd work out pretty cool with that! Also, Im glad the data doesnt integrate with Sleep Cycle because itd throw off all your averages... I bought Sleep Cycle first, then got this app as part of a package along with the HR one. If you are only interested in Power Nap, yes buy it! If you are interested in Sleep Cycle and the HR app, buy the package! To the developers: some sort of basic data aggregation would be cool (like keeping track of my habits and wake up moods). Not sure if the SleepSecure subscription already does this, though, as I do not have it. Also, it would be cool if the apps talked to each other. Like do I always have a hard time falling asleep when I took a power nap that day? Or do I have any better quality of sleep on those days? Etc. Overall, yes Id recommend this app!

Awesome app

This is a great app. It has beautiful wake up sounds and it has great nap lengths. It could be improved by adding more nap lengths.

Barebones

This app is disappointingly underdeveloped. Sleepcycle is great and well worth the money but this app feels like an afterthought. Even basic analytics would be enough to sort of justify the price. I keep expecting they will flesh it out with some added functionality, but looks like thats not happening anytime soon.

where has this been all my life?!

some days, i just dont sleep well or get a chance... but i used to HATE naps. i would sleep too much or not be able to rest because id be scared of running late. it was just horrible. NOT ANYMORE! Tough days? Sleepless nights? I turn this on and wake up ready to handle the world.

Just like they have an updated this app and a year and it doesnt feed into health or their ecosystem, no way to sync or add a data point

The perfect app for napping

I consider myself a semi-professional napper. This app has allowed me to hone my craft. You wake up at that perfect moment - not feeling groggy or jolted out of sleep. This is .99 well spent.

Best Nap App

Im a graduate student who is constantly tired from all of the work that needs to be done. As I usually try and stay away from caffeine, my naps have turned from a supposed 30 minute nap to 3-5 hour long monstrosities. This app really changed my sleep cycle and allowed me to spend more time doing the things I need to do. Absolutely fantastic!

I give 5 stars because There is nothing to say, its wonderful, and really works.

Completely useless unless you toss and turn

Maybe its just because Im some weird freak of nature, but when I take naps, I dont move in my sleep. Like, at all. And frankly, I dont think that thats very unusual. Since this app judges your sleep state solely on movement, unless you move around while you nap it wont tell you anything. Everything I set it to "up to 20 mins" or "up to 45 mins", it just wakes me after the full 20 or 45 minutes are up because it cant tell whether or not Im in light/deep sleep since I dont move. This means it does the same exact thing as the normal clock app, leaving me just as groggy and tired when I wake up. Before you spend your money, please make sure you actually move around while you nap or the app will be as useless to you as it is to me.
